Pricier than traditional foam but a great compostable replacement!

We used the small pouches for wildflower garden centerpieces and they help up well. We did create them the day before the event.

Oshun was easy to use. It has good surface tension and holds flowers well. It is a great environmental alternative to floral foam. I’m considering using it in an arrangement I’ll be putting into an art museum.

All in all, the Oshun pouch worked better than my homemade version. It took in a ton of water and most of stems fared well in the pouch. Unfortunately all of my campanula stems had to be replaced on site as they were not hydrating well in the pouch. I did have one pouch bust open in the corner and leak coir into the vessel. It was quite messy. At this price point, I was hoping that none of my pouches would have issues busting open. However, I do appreciate this alternative to foam and I hope they continue perfecting the product.

As an environmentally sound alternative to floral foam I find this wholly acceptable for design w/ sturdier stems, not bad w/pre-made pointed holes for more fragile stems.
Will dry out a bit more quickly after design completed than toxic foam-- needs checking and rehydration more quickly in shallow vase in days after arrangement. But better for me, better for earth in this latest positive move away from chemical compounds.
